Our Human Resources Division is currently seeking a Health and Safety Team Leader to lead a unit that administers the CalPERS Reasonable Accommodation program and other Health and Safety programs. The preferred candidate has knowledge of Reasonable Accommodation and other medical management programs, and the ability to manage complex, critical, and confidential customer requests in a fast-paced team environment.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Lead a team of three analysts who respond to team member requests for assistance with health and safety programs
- Administer all aspects of the reasonable accommodation program
- Supervise and manage the workload for a group of team members who administer the CalPERS Ergonomic Program and Employee Assistance Program
- Manage risk mitigation efforts in the unit to ensure health and safety cases are opened, continued, closed, documented, and audited appropriately and in compliance with State, Federal, and Civil Service laws and rules
- Develop, design, and deliver a variety of presentations, training, and/or other communications related to the reasonable accommodation process, policies, and/or procedures, for large and small audiences
