Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for multiple staff members
- Perform data entry tasks, including updating customer information and processing orders
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents
- Provide general support to patients and staff members as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification is a plus
- 1 year proven experience as a receptionist or in a related role is preferred
- Proficient in using computerized systems for data entry, email, and internet research
- Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, copiers, and fax machines
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Skills:
- Knowledge of phone systems to handle incoming calls professionally and efficiently
- Strong data entry skills to input information accurately into EMR system
- Familiarity with computerized administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing calendars
