KORT is seeking an outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant (Oncology/Pelvic Health) in Louisville, KY
Our community-oriented outpatient center is looking for a compassionate, caring and driven licensed physical therapist assistant to provide exceptional patient care on a full time basis. We serve a diverse specialty caseload, including pelvic health and oncology. Interest in cancer rehab required, experience preferred. New grads welcome to apply, as we are able to train in specialty caseloads. Student rotation experience in pelvic health and/or cancer rehab preferred.
Seize the opportunity to join our highly trained and respected ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation Program team, who provide rehabilitative services to help improve quality of life for people affected by cancer. Our ReVital team provides the necessary education and training for therapists invested in treating our diverse population, which must be completed within the first 6-12 months of employment. Our work environment offers a great opportunity to provide quality care to our patients and grow with the nation’s leader in outpatient physical therapy. Caseload will be entirely oncology and/or pelvic health.
Hours: Monday-Friday no weekends.
Hourly rate: Starting at $22.00 per hour with potential for our student debt relief program.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.

Possesses training and education which allows him/her to assist the Physical Therapist in carrying out prescribed treatment program.

Implements, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.

Develops treatment plans, supervises assistants and aides, contributes to case management, and provides quality patient care.

Maintains positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhances and expands client relations with facilities and their staff.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:

Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Physical Therapy

Current State Physical Therapy licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
-
Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required

Ability to work 40 hours per week with occasional late or early shifts to accommodate patients
Preferred Qualifications:

Interest/experience in cancer rehabilitation (student rotations considered)

Interest/experience in pelvic health (student rotations considered)

Outpatient ortho experience (student rotations considered)
