Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide recommendations and answer questions about menu items
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables regularly
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
Qualifications:
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Strong sales skills to upsell menu items and promote specials
- Excellent time management to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience
- Experience in guest services within the food industry is preferred
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Ability to build rapport with guests and handle guest relations effectively
