OVERVIEW: The Assistant Manager assists the General Manager in overseeing operations, sales and service resulting in meeting company expectations. Schedule is full time and works Friday - Tuesday. Performance will provide a top dog culture that emphasizes fun, empowerment, quality, productivity, high standards and goal fetching. Confidently and effectively leads to ensure all aspects of the Club operate in accordance with standards set forth by the Club as a top-of-category brand, ultimately resulting in an irresistible experience for each Member. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Represent the Club in a positive and professional manner at all times.
- Perform job duties in compliance with policies and procedures outlined in the Team Member Handbook and Operating Manual.
- Assist the General Manager in meeting our business plans including, but not limited to, increase in Members, revenue, Member satisfaction and engagement, safety and health standards, Team Member performance, and operational efficiency.
- Review Daily Dashboard, sales stats, lead log, appointments, and sources and make adjustments as needed to meet expectations for each day.
- Knowledgeable of all services, products, features and benefits; able to articulate knowledge and sell with a friendly, sales-through-service philosophy.
- Ensure all documentation is complete in a proper and timely fashion and filed appropriately, including but not limited to, Member Agreement, Vaccination Certificates, Meet & Greet documents, Incident Reports, etc.
- Ensure that Club operates at the highest standards of quality and safety in each department; all services are performed in a safe and humane manner; promote emergency preparedness and safety with the Team at all times; ensure safety standards, workers’ compensation, OSHA compliance and injury & illness prevention programs are adhered to within the Club.
- Assist with the training and development of each Team Member.
- Assist the manager in Team Member counseling sessions.
- Report any Team Member performance issues to the manager.
- Check the schedule each day to ensure breaks are given and staffing is at optimal levels; make adjustments as needed.
- Ensure the flow of communication is uninterrupted at the Club accomplished through huddles, memos, and personal communication.
- Enforce Club policies, standards and procedures in a consistent and timely manner with both Members and Team Members.
- Ensure daily schedule for naptime, walks, medication, and feeding is properly maintained and is aligned with the needs of each dog.
- Meet with Members as needed to discuss overall behavior of dogs attending the Club.
- Maintain a sparkling clean presentation at all times; ensure the Club scent is pleasant at all times; conduct cleaning walk throughs at least three times a day setting expectations for improvement as well as giving recognition for good performance.
- Complete the Manager Daily Checklist while on Lead/Supervisor shift.
- Oversee Daily Checklists to insure excellence in cleanliness and performance.
- Continuously monitor and immediate clean up of excrement, urine or vomit; disinfect area.
- Oversee the proper use and maintenance of Club building, equipment, supplies and tools; follow the proper schedule of preventative maintenance and service agreements; inspect upon completion; contact the appropriate outside service contractor for repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Assist with special projects, events and promotions as needed.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- One year experience in dog related field preferred.
