They are currently in search of a motivated and enthusiastic Entry-Level Marketing and Sales Assistant to join their team and contribute to the success of their fundraising endeavors.
Position Overview: The Entry-Level Marketing and Sales Assistant is responsible for working on-site at various locations with the goal of engaging with members of the public to increase both exposure and revenue for their clientele. The Marketing and Sales Assistant will receive training on all aspects of business operations, starting with the events themselves and then moving more behind the scenes.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver presentations to various community members, addressing any inquiries they may have regarding the charity and generating donations on their behalf
- Collaborate with team members, leadership, and management to comprehend and fulfill all duties and responsibilities associated with the role.
- Attend events to engage with community members, providing information and education about their charitable partners.
- Commence each day by refreshing on their charitable partners and their missions, including any updates and progressions.
- Accept donations and ensure proper documentation.
- Establish ongoing communication with donors to keep them informed about program progress.
- Participate in a supportive team environment, offering and receiving assistance as needed.
Requirements:
- High sch
- Ideally, have 0-2 years of experience in customer service, non-profit, fundraising, or related fields.
- Demonstrate a resilient attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Exhibit a passion for working with people and the ability to speak publicly in front of diverse audiences.
- Possess excellent communication skills and the capacity to collaborate within a team setting.
- Display a drive to advance within the organization and assume leadership roles.
Scheduled: Monday-Friday + optional Saturday hours
Pay: Based off performance upon completion of training
