This is a high level clerical and financial assignment, in support of functions for the Osage Ambulance District. Duties include managing the EMS administrative office, conducting financial and personnel administration duties and performing a variety of secretarial and administrative duties. This position also assists with EMS billing and records, collections, answers inquiries from insurance companies and patients, and explains all actions pertaining to billing and accounting inquiries. Duties also include performing general administrative support functions for the office including typing correspondence, opening and sorting mail, filing, record keeping, scheduling appointments, maintaining multiple calendars and any other related administrative support functions as needed. This position also assists EMS Chief with planning and monitoring the EMS budget. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Osage Ambulance District EMS Chief.
