Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with special needs.
- Adapt and deliver behavioral support to meet students' varying needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and specialists to support student progress.
- Manage classroom behavior and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Assess students skills to determine their needs and to develop teaching plans.
- Use a variety of strategies and techniques to meet students diverse behavioral needs.
- Maintain accurate and complete student records and prepare reports on children and activities as required by laws, district policies, and administrative regulations.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Experience working with children with special needs in an educational or therapeutic setting.
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and other relevant behavioral intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
