LOUIS BERK LAW IS LOOKING FOR A BILINGUAL PERSONAL LEGAL RECEPTIONIST
Louis Berk Law is looking to add a STANDOUT receptionist to work in their personal injury litigation department. Each applicant should have a friendly demeanor, be professional, and be detail-oriented. Excellent opportunity for professional growth as well as advancement within our firm.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and properly route incoming calls on a multi-line telephone system
- Answers questions about the firm and provides callers with address, directions and other information
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Collect, scan, and route mail and hand-delivered packages
- Perform other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying and faxing
- Maintain office, stock the waiting area, and different offices with supplies
- Serve coffee/tea/water to guest and remove office trash
- Provide administrative support to various departments as required
- Schedule appointments, consultations, and meetings, ensuring efficient management of the calendar for attorneys and staff
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive client information and documents
- Monitor and manage the office's general email inbox, responding to inquiries and forwarding messages to relevant team members
- Display professionalism and empathy when handling sensitive and emotionally charged situations.
Requirements:
- You must be bilingual (English and Spanish).
- Proven experience as a legal receptionist or in a similar role.
- You are great with people (not just good). You can easily sympathize with them, and you are good at navigating tricky social situations tactfully.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanor.
- You can keep your cool when someone else is freaking out.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- You would enjoy answering the phone every time it rings. It’s never an “interruption” to you; it’s an “opportunity.”
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks.
- You are Internet and technology literate, and you would feel comfortable learning new systems.
- You can “check your baggage at the door.” Basically, you’re capable of coming into work without bringing outside drama in with you.
