As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our law firm's operations, ensuring exceptional client service, maintaining high levels of efficiency, and driving continuous improvement. This position will be a direct report to the Managing Partner(s) and provide on-site support and supervision to the staff, accounting, IT, and general office management needs of the firm. The individual will be an experienced professional with strong accounting/managerial experience and possess a high degree of integrity and professionalism.
This position should grow into a COO role.
Duties and responsibilities of this role include:
· Managing firm financial systems, including time-tracking, billing, collections, bookkeeping, expense management, and accounts payable
· Ensuring that the firm's business systems and processes are documented and followed
· Performing human resources functions, including personnel file maintenance and payroll management
· Assist with hiring and training of staff
· Planning and executing client and firm events and seminars; supporting attorney speaking engagements, sponsorships, and corporate philanthropy
· Working closely with the Managing Member to create and manage the firm's marketing plans and strategic calendar
· Develop and ensure regular compliance with Key Performance Indicators
Required Qualifications/Skills:
· 5+ years of experience managing and/or managing business operations. functions in human resources, accounting, payroll and/or finance
· A thorough understanding of accounting and financial principles
·(preferred) Knowledge of legal industry matters
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· A record of successful teamwork and the delivery of exceptional client service
· Technology focused
· Ability to consistently deliver high quality work
· Strong business acumen and responsive, service-oriented attitude
· An intense focus on getting the job done, on time, with an eye towards process improvement
· Exemplary organizational skills, as well as attention to detail
· Proactive, with demonstrated initiative, ability to work independently, with the ability to anticipate and address follow-up needs and escalate issues for attorney review
· Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
