Front Office
Ramada Plaza Hotel - West Hollywood
Job Description:
The Front Office - is responsible for working within a hotel environment and is involved in the daily operations of the hotel. The attendants job is to insure total guest satisfaction at all times.
1. *Work with other Front Office personnel in a team work environment.
2. *Attend Front Office meetings, as required
3. *Check-in and Check-out customers on OPERA property management system.
4. *Monitor group reservations, assist Sales Dept with groups.
5. *Ensure that the front desk and back office is clean and well organized.
6. *Work closely with the controller, sales department, maintenance, housekeeping and provide maximum support.
7. *Be able to work evening shift and night audit, when required.
8. Be familiar with night audit procedures and be able to follow and complete night audit checklist.
9. Process guest check-ins and check-outs according to Ramada Worldwide Standard Operating Procedures
10. Empathetically listen to guest inquiries and provide appropriate responses
11. Block rooms in the computer and follow through on designated requirements
12. Pre-register designated guests and prepare key packets
13. Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments/personnel (i.e., special requests, amenity delivery)
14. Maintain confidentiality of all guests and hotel information
15. Employ attention to detail in order to ensure security of guest room access.
16. Accommodate room changes expediently
17. Document all guest requests, complaints or problems immediately and notify designated department for resolving the situation.
Follow up to ensure completion and guest satisfaction
18. Monitor, send and distribute guest faxes
19. Generate, print and distribute daily and weekly reports
20. Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping
21. Maintain complete knowledge at all times of all hotel features/services, hours of operation, room types, numbers, layout, decor, appointments and locations, room rates, special packages and promotions.

3. * Previous hotel front desk experience is strongly preferred
4. * Familiar with OPERA property management system experience
5. * Must be flexible an able to work nights, holidays, and weekends.
6. * Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, management and co- workers, both in person and by telephone
7. * Ability to accurately and efficiently input information into OPERA PMS computer systems
8. * Ability to work cohesively with co-workers both within and outside of your department
9. * Ability to think clearly, quickly and make concise decisions
10. * Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up
11. * Ability to work well under pressure
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- West Hollywood, CA 90069: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
