We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Vacation Rental Turnover Cleaner/Housekeeper. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring that our vacation rental properties are immaculately cleaned, staged, and stocked between guest stays. Your meticulous attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and presentation that our guests expect.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of all rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas, and outdoor spaces, following established cleaning protocols and checklists.
- Staging: Ensure that each vacation rental property is staged to perfection, including arranging furniture, organizing decor items, and setting up amenities to create an inviting and welcoming environment for guests.
- Stocking and Inventory Management: Regularly inspect inventory levels of essential supplies such as toiletries, linens, kitchen utensils, and cleaning products, and restock as needed to ensure that guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay.
- Laundering and Linen Care: Collect, launder, and fold linens and towels, ensuring that they are clean, fresh, and neatly presented for incoming guests.
- Maintenance Assistance: Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning or turnover processes to the appropriate personnel for prompt resolution.
- Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with the property management team regarding turnover schedules, cleaning requirements, and any guest feedback or special requests.
- Adherence to Standards: Adhere to company standards and guidelines for cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction, consistently delivering high-quality service that exceeds expectations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in professional cleaning or housekeeping roles, preferably in a hospitality or vacation rental setting.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established cleaning protocols and checklists.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet turnover deadlines.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to travel between vacation rental properties as needed.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings based on turnover schedules and guest bookings.
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to guests.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or training in hospitality, housekeeping, or related field.
- Familiarity with environmentally friendly cleaning products and practices.
- Basic proficiency in using smartphones or tablets for communication and scheduling purposes.
