JOB TITLE: Recess Clerk
REPORTS TO: Principal
FLSA: Non-Exempt

QUALIFICATIONS: The playground clerk shall have a minimum of high school diploma or its equivalent and be competent in the duties to be performed. Ability to work in adverse weather conditions (rain, heat, snow, and cold) due to playground supervision and bus duty.

JOB GOAL: To improve the educational program by creating a safe space for students to enjoy recess!
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise students at recess and lunch.
- Check playground equipment for needed repairs and report any items needing repair to the principal.
- Monitor classrooms when teacher is in an IEP or staff meeting.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the building principal.
- Possess the ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in written form, with administrators, staff and the community as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
