BASIC PURPOSE: The Account Executive, will participate in research, idea generation, strategic development, plan-creation, market-based sales execution, international market expansion, international sales execution, operations, financial success, subsequent growth, and evolution. The Account Executive is responsible for Telco and Cable companies, Studios, Rights and Residual organizations, Analytic groups, etc , and designated products developed and executed in conjunction of the aforementioned areas.
The Account Executive must be able to blend business requirements and standards with sales, marketing, database/software concepts, designs, and technical development. Individual must have excellent communication, organization, written skills, ability to collaborate effectively with the technical staff (Product Technology, Operations) and business/sales professionals. The Account Executive must have the capacity for seeing the big picture in terms of pre-sales engagement, product life cycle, follow-up and continued client communications, markets trends, prospects, and client needs. This role demands relentless pursuit and proactive engagement, requiring near-constant hunting to identify and secure new opportunities.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will include giving sales presentations to staff members, prospects, and clients. Individual must be able to answer business related questions regarding sales status, contracts, pricing, and concepts, as well as deliverable requirements of prospects and clients. The Account Executive must be able to document and provide deliverable requirements relating to the sales information garnered by sales personnel to the various company departments for department heads to analyze and compare product features and needs as it relates to their areas of responsibility.
· The Account Executive must be available to travel as required to meet with prospects, clients, and 3rd party providers
· Develop a business plan for the execution of sales strategies to generate profitable revenue flow from prospects and/or current clients
· Develop/build the brand identity for Red Bee Media and educate prospective clients about the advantages of the company’s products
· Work collaboratively with marketing to develop campaigns, and product awareness to drive specific business needs of Red Bee Media
· Maintain business trends and project business opportunities to take advantage of various business verticals
· Drive continual process improvement in all internal competencies and customer contact paths
· Work collaboratively with other management team members for the further development of Red Bee Media business needs, goals, and objectives
· Coordinate workflow and related requirements with Solution Architects, developers, and Operations staff to define product requirements along with related deadlines to complete sales proposals and assigned tasks
- Work with Business Administration, Product Technology, Operations, Sales, and Marketing to define prospect and client needs
- Assist with presentations of the sales projects and/or products
· Participate in sales presentations and help assess client requirements and business needs as they relate to the company’s products and services
· Contribute technical responses for sales proposals, staying abreast of current industry trends and developments
· Attend trade shows and events to present live demos to attendees, as required
· Continually research potential competitors and their products and services
· Generate written reports, recording account activities and product status for prospect and client meetings that individual is associated within Salesforce and other applications as necessary
· Identify and understand key prospect and/or customer technical requirements
· Respond to prospect and customer requests for development status as it relates to assigned products and projects in a timely manner
· Assist Sales and Marketing with customizing demonstrations per prospect and customer requirements
· Work closely with prospects and customers to plan and perform onsite "proof of concept/benchmark" tests of the company's products and services
· Provide technical and non-technical support as required
· Recommend and participate in architecting company solutions and working with department managers to develop assigned sales projects
· Work closely with sales and marketing managers to build applications to aid in current and future sales opportunities
· Work closely with all departments to prioritize customer enhancement requests; plan and contribute to future product releases
KEY OBJECTIVES:
This position will need to add value to mature and enhance existing and future company products
- When required, participate in developing a cross-functional team to optimize the product’s market position and financial return across its lifecycle (consistent with the company’s strategies). The sales position offers a competitive compensation package with a base salary of $90,000, complemented by a robust commission structure. In addition to the base and commissions, employees are eligible for quarterly and annual bonuses, providing significant earning potential based on performance.
