Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned SR General Superintendent with a mechanical - Electrical Plumbing (MEP) focus to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the success of our commercial projects through exceptional leadership, meticulous planning, and robust execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and mentor teams across all trades and manpower levels.
- Ensure implementation and documentation of corrective measures as needed.
- Create and execute a comprehensive Master Plan for projects.
- Oversee and maintain CPMI (Critical Path Method Initiative).
- Schedule and manage daily and weekly work activities.
- Manage requisition, maintenance, and accountability for tools, materials, and equipment.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and quality of work.
- Coordinate jurisdictional inspections and maintain positive relationships with inspectors.
- Review and update Labor Hours/Job Costs reports weekly with project management.
- Optimize project execution through field/pre-fabrication planning and scheduling.
- Assist with schedule preparation and resource/budget allocation.
- Provide training, mentoring, and leadership to field personnel.
- Ensure accurate cost coding and timely submission of time cards.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in a relevant field with a proven track record.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and manage complex projects.
