The Commercial Plumbing Estimator will be the company representative and serve as the company's point of contact with the client and the construction team when required. You will be required to estimate and manage commercial and industrial plumbing projects. Responsibilities include contract negotiations, budget development, estimating, construction management, scheduling, cost control, quality control, client relations, and most importantly business development.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Estimator will review plumbing plans, specifications, and other bid documents prior to finalizing estimate
- Business Development develop network of local GC's and builders
- Attend GC/Owner job site meetings and pre-bid walkthroughs as required to fully understand project scope
- Maintain a working knowledge of plumbing construction standards plus regulatory requirements for construction and safety
- Work with vendors, subcontractors, customer representatives, and engineers to resolve all technical issues that will impact the estimate and field operations
- Offer value engineering alternatives to help save the owner costs, make the design better, and secure a profitable project
- Design and Build experience to develop accurate estimates that will put us in an advantageous position as the project develops
- Collaborate with Project Manager to schedule the trades and outside service providers to prepare a field construction schedule
Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of commercial / industrial plumbing estimator experience
- 2+ years of Commercial plumbing experience or applicable technical / engineering degree
- Self starter and take responsibility for the final estimate/proposal.
- Strong desire and ability to close sales by building solid relationships with GC's, Owner's places of business
- Well versed with "On Screen Take Off" or other estimating software as well as Microsoft Office.
- Business computer skills are required: email, excel, Bluebeam, PDF, Word etc...
- Knowledgeable of the scope of the contracts and specifications to ensure that estimates and proposals meet said requirements
