Summary
American Time is seeking a goal-oriented Channel Sales Manager to help grow the channel partner environment and achieve sales goals through our Integrator/Contractor network. Contributing to profitable revenue growth, the role will be focused on growing the channel partner network throughout North America, while supporting the company’s ongoing sales and growth opportunities by providing channel sales support to a portfolio of assigned partners or customers.
The Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, maintaining, and expanding relations with channel partners in the US. The Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for understanding the overall sales strategy and implementing the necessary tactics to grow sales revenue. The Channel Manager represents the entire range of company products and services to partners in order to achieve partner recruitment and sales objectives.
This role is located in our Dassel Minnesota Headquarters and is expected to travel periodically.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop a network of channel partners that adhere to our partner profile and actively promote American Time’s products.
- Prospect, qualify, proactively recruit, on-board, and manage channel partners.
- Sell through partner organizations to end users working closely with our Territory Sales Managers.
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in partner accounts.
- Negotiate contracts, agreements, and pricing structures to ensure favorable terms and maximize profitability.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to promote our brand and expand our professional network.
Develop a sales strategy to expand our channel partnerships by collaborating with the Director of Global Sales and Sales Team members.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and expand market share within the IT Integrator / Contractor sector.
- Forecast monthly sales revenue and achieve sales goals and KPIs set by management.
- Manage channel partners and some outside sales staff with a focus on creating yearly and quarterly channel plans.
- Monitor the effectiveness of the sales and service methodologies within this sales channel for all products.
- Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify emerging opportunities and potential threats.
Develop a training strategy to keep our channel partners current on our products. Work closely with the Territory Sales Managers to determine areas of need and focus.
- Focus on training American Time’s partners on effective methods for selling and using American Time’s products and software platforms.
- Travel and meet with channel partners, to conduct presentations and live demos of the product.
Develop strong, collaborative relationships with team members in all departments. Use these relationships collaboratively to ensure support for our channel partners.
- Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative solutions that address client needs and differentiate our offerings in the marketplace.
- Provide open and honest communication, mutual respect, and strong teamwork at all levels in the organization and with our outside stakeholders.
