We are looking for a part to full-time Occupational Therapist/Hand Therapist (CHT preferred) to execute best-in-class care at our outpatient clinic in our Antioch Clinic. This will be the only Hand Therapist in the clinic, working with a team of Physical Therapists, and support staff. This position is available with the option to work full time split with a clinic in Kenosha, WI if interested . Candidates looking for part-time or full time hours will be considered.
Doctors of Physical Therapy (DPT) was founded in 2005 by a physical therapist with the main goal to consistently help patients achieve faster, long term relief. DPT currently operates over 70 outpatient physical therapy and hand therapy clinics across Wisconsin, Illinois and Michigan.
Occupational Therapist Responsibilities
· Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs
· Offer cost-effective treatments that help improve clients’ motion and mobility
· Reduce the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery
· Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
· Create fitness and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients’ specific needs
· Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
· Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally
· Promote clients’ healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance and coordination
· Consult and practice with other health professionals
· Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress
· Document patient care services

Experience:
· Occupational Therapy: 3+years (Preferred) New grads that want to pursue a CHT will be considered.
· Must have Hand Therapy experience, and/or desire to complete CHT.
· Must have strong splint skills.
License/Certification:
· Occupational Therapy License in Illinois required
· Occupational Therapy License in Wisconsin or willingness to apply for WI licensure preferred
· CHT preferred
