You will be the first person our patients meet: a representative of the practice. Responsibilities include greeting and scheduling patients, taking calls, filing and maintaining patient records, email and mail correspondence, processing payments, basic bookkeeping, participating in office promotions, and basic office cleanliness. Candidate my also assist in patient care guided by providers.
The following are qualifications we're looking for. With the understanding that the ideal candidate may not possess all skills, we are willing to train the right person:
- Previous experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in a healthcare office
- An articulate, polished, professional; demonstrated ability to act with tact and diplomacy
- Possess a high level of interpersonal skill to handle sensitive and confidential situations
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization abilities
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills,
- Ability to work independently and make decisions based on sound judgment
- Self-starter with proven ability to work under deadlines and to be flexible
- Ability to use PC and Mac devices (iPhone, iPad, etc)
