OVERVIEW
We are looking for a friendly and professional Receptionist in Washington, DC for a one-year contract position to be the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and vendors. This role involves managing visitor sign-ins, mail, and packages, ensuring office safety and security, and supporting various administrative tasks to keep the office running smoothly. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as the first point of contact, welcoming and directing employees, visitors, and vendors.
- Manage visitor sign-ins, mail, and packages; maintain the visitor log.
- Build strong relationships with office staff and leadership; communicate office updates proactively.
- Collaborate with the Site Manager and Physical Security team to ensure safety and security, including badge management, safety inspections, and emergency drills.
- Assist with office administration tasks such as inventory, ordering supplies, conference room bookings, and event setups.
- Maintain the organization and appearance of the lobby and office; support on-site vendors and internal projects when needed.
QUALIFICATIONS

Working knowledge of MacOS and proficiency with G Suite (must have)
- Experience in hospitality, customer service, or employee experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism with excellent social and communication skills
- First Aid and CPR certifications from an accredited provider (for example: Red Cross, AHA)

Rate: $20+ / hourly
Hours: 40 / week (onsite)
Contract Duration: 1 year
