It is the primary responsibility of the Host/Cashier to operate and manage the POS system, including all monetary/credit transactions and comps. The Host/Cashier will seat guests, accordingly, accommodating when possible, and assisting with special needs while providing courteous and prompt service to all guests.

Greets and seats guests in a gracious manner and distributes business among Food Servers equally as fairly as possible.

Monitors guests that are seated, and immediately responds to guest's needs or requests.

Also, assists with bussing tables and beverage service when necessary to ensure seamless service.

May deal with customer complaints or price disputes.

Handles money and credit transactions.

Reconciles cash register drawer at the end of working shift; ensures all proper procedures are being followed.

Cleans and inspects condition of all menus daily.

Reviews price sheets to note price changes of items in establishment.

Maintains the proper supplies for the host station.

Notifies manager on duty of any guest's concerns or complaints.

Performs all other job-related duties as requested.
