Job Description:

Warehouse Management: Supervise warehouse staff to maintain efficient and orderly warehouse which includes shipping and receiving areas, dock areas (inside and outside), shipping / receiving offices, and all inventory / racking areas. Implement and maintain 5S.

Shipping: Manage Fulfillment Workbench, Carrier Routing, and Material Handler work orders to achieve at minimum 97% - 100% accuracy with on time and in full shipping of customer orders. Review missed deliveries and ID top corrective actions inclusive of all responsible parties. Coordinate customer specific Freight Lines for outbound freight. Coordination of primary Freight Lines to manage volume and timing of pickups.

Receiving: Manage logistics and workflow of all incoming material to successfully support production and shipping needs with zero downtime. Achieve same day material receipt, physically and administratively. Review missed/late/incorrect receipts and ID top corrective actions inclusive of all responsible parties.

Inventory: Lead annual physical inventory activity for life science warehouse, implement/maintain weekly cycle count activities, to include SOPs, to achieve >/= 95% accuracy, FIFO, and inventory flow best practices. Eliminate bin location accuracy issues and inventory losses. Work with Supply Chain Manager to disposition obsolete and slow moving (OSMI) in all NA warehouses. Assist in providing inventory counts as scheduled or requested by internal/external customers.

Perform and participate in investigations, root cause/corrective action on inventory inaccuracies.
- Training: Implement/maintain SOPs and train existing/new team members on all areas of responsibility.
- Equipment: Monitor/maintain material handling equipment in warehouse.
- Safety: Provide adherence and leadership for all Safety policies and procedures.

Communicate and implement employee objectives to achieve area KPIs.
- Lead and support disciplinary actions, when necessary.

Drive continuous improvement by managing the feedback loop with material handlers and by initialing improvement projects during the weekly 5S review.

Enforce label standardization through the coordination of material handlers and enforcing label design adherence.
Communicate all warehouse capacity constraints to impacted stakeholders in production, procurement, and customer services to inform inventory minimums and maximums.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree OR equivalent 5+ years' experience in supervision/management of personnel in a warehouse/distribution and production environment
Advanced performance in Microsoft Office, with exceptional excel skills.
Advanced skills with Inventory / Quality Control business practices.
Operation / Equipment - Certification / Forklift
Safety leadership experience preferred
Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
