Senator Chris Van Hollen's office seeks a highly motivated and organized individual to perform a broad range of administrative support to the Scheduler and Director of Operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, reviewing and processing scheduling requests, assisting in managing the Senator’s personal correspondence, compiling and organizing back-up for the Senator’s engagements/events, assisting with room scheduling and administrative support in the Capitol Hill office, and reviewing and editing statements and correspondence. Candidates must be detail-oriented, resourceful, and have the ability to prioritize and follow through on multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment with discretion. Qualified individuals must have strong written and oral communication skills. Prior Capitol Hill experience and mid-Atlantic ties are a plus.
