Grow as a Person Centered Support Specialist
· Assist individuals in learning and developing new skills that will enhance opportunities to maintain their placement in the community to live a happier and healthier life
· Provide assistance and supervise residents in activities of daily living
· Support may occur in the home of the individual, or out in the community
· Transport individuals which can include medical appointments, grocery store, or dining out, and etc.
· Maintain a safe environment at all times ensuring safety and well-being of the client
· Teach a variety of household skills including cooking, laundry, emergency preparedness, personal hygiene and shopping
· Assist with daily living skills and goals as described in Individualized Program Plan (IPP)

What You’ll Bring to JCDC
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Skills: reliable, responsible, ability to be calm, sympathetic, and caring
- Transportation: valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
