This is a solo practice that specializes in thyroid and parathyroid surgical and medical diseases. The job requires a cheerful, kind, experienced medical assistant who is happy to room and assess patients, make and return phone calls, prepare charts for the visits, e-prescribe, file, and answer phone calls from patients. We have a paper chart system. Legible handwriting is a must. The medical assistant will have to be both dependable and flexible. This is a small practice with a small group of employees, and everyone in the office works closely together. An energetic person who is a team player is what we need to get the job done. This is a busy happy office with a good morale and emphasis on patient care.
The job would consist of three ten hour days. The total number of hours per week would be 30 hours a week. The current hours would be three days a week from 7:30 to 5:30, with 30 min paid lunch break. There are part-time nurses and nursing students who also work in the office.
