Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various clinical and administrative tasks. Responsibilities:
- Perform basic medical procedures under the supervision of healthcare professionals, including medication administration, wound care, and specimen collection.
- Assist with patient examinations by preparing exam rooms, taking vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Prepare patients for UltraSound procedures and assist providers as needed.
- Provide excellent patient service by addressing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with medical administrative tasks such as insurance verification, billing, and coding.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support techniques.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus. Knowledge or ECW a plus
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.
Bi-lingual a plus.
