We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong leadership skills to ensure the smooth functioning of administrative activities.
**Responsibilities:**
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary
- Oversee office budgeting and financial operations
- Coordinate payroll processes and maintain employee records
- Schedule appointments and meetings, and manage calendars
- Provide training development for new office staff
- Handle phone calls, emails, and correspondence with professionalism
- Utilize Xero for financial transactions and reporting
- Assist with human resources tasks such as onboarding and benefits administration
- Implement efficient office procedures to optimize workflow
- Ensure compliance with Housing Standards
- Oversee collections
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience (3+ years) as an Office Manager or similar administrative role
- Proficiency in clerical tasks and office software applications. Must be proficient in Excel, Smartsheets a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of budgeting principles and financial reporting
- Familiarity with payroll systems and processes
- Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
- Ability to manage calendars effectively
- Experience in training development is a plus
- Proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software preferred
- Understanding of human resources practices
