An Entry Level Technical Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support and communicating effectively with our clients. We are seeking a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills who is comfortable with installing software, troubleshooting basic issues on computers and smart phones and willing to learn new things.
This entry level position requires daily interaction via telephone and email with our clients, which include law enforcement, court officers and probationer/parolees. We are looking for an organized self-starter with a high capacity to learn new skills. The ideal candidate provides excellent customer service by maintaining their composure when dealing with difficult people and has the patience to calmly provide assistance to clients. They must also have a problem solving mindset and express a willingness to take on new tasks.
An idea candidate has experience in at least 3 of the following operating systems: Android, Windows, MacOS, iOS, ChromeOS
Duties Include
- Efficiently and effectively install and troubleshoot our software for clients.
- Answer phones and forward calls to appropriate team members.
- Respond to voice mails. Take messages when necessary.
- Perform data entry. The ability to accurately enter information into a database is crucial.
- Working as part of a team. This includes supporting each other and keeping a positive working environment.
- Computer and Smart Phone skills are required, including proficiency in Outlook, Internet Browsers, Adding/Removing Programs/Apps, Changing Phone Settings.
- Maintain high level of confidentiality.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
