Core Responsibilities:
As an Assembler I, you will need to be comfortable reading and understanding blue prints and production orders. Assemble and test a wide range of valves and componentry. You are responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining a safe, clean work area using 6S methods. Work with hand tools, pallet jacks, impact wrench, automatic saw, polisher/sanders and overhead crane. Work in a team environment while meeting quality and efficiency standards.
Essential Functions:
· Assemble product per print, work instructions and/or production order requirements.
· Set-up and test product per engineering specifications.
· Check the test setup, piping and fixtures for leaks and pressure ratings and document test data.
· Make necessary adjustments to product during testing.
· Maintain efficiency while producing high quality product.
· Adhere to established time standards and safety practices.
· Sustain 6S work environment by setting up and maintaining work area, equipment and supplies.
· Troubleshoot and elevate issues as necessary.
Competencies:
· Attention to detail.
· Able to read blue prints and production orders.
· Able to use hand tools, motorized tools and impacts wrenches.
· Knowledge of problem solving
· EHS awareness
· Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb and bend, etc. within a manufacturing environment - may require lifting up to 50 lbs. Anything over 50 lbs. is with assistance.
Education and Required Qualifications:
· HS Diploma/GED or equivalent.
· Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
