- This is a part time position, 8-16 hours per week. Starting at $17/hour.
Serve as a caretaker of the church's facilities to create safe, inviting, and functional spaces for a variety of activities. Responsible for the setup of rooms in various configurations. Involves moving and arranging tables, chairs, and any other furnishings necessary for the programs of the church, in the arrangements requested by the ministries. Carry out custodial, janitorial, and housekeeping duties. Provide minor repairs.
Carry out cleaning duties, including bathrooms, trash disposal, floor care, dusting, cleaning walls, and other needs. Follow cleaning schedules (weekly, quarterly, annual, etc.) to ensure equipment and spaces are well-cared for and usable. Other duties as assigned.
Prepares spaces to meet the needs of various activities on Church property. Responsible to read the work board to understand daily assignments of required setups. Arrange tables and chairs into requested configurations. Assist in tear down after events are completed and returning items to their storage locations.
Perform minor repairs and updates, such as replacing switches and outlets, sockets, door handles, knobs, changing light bulbs and unclog drains. Provide regular maintenance/upkeep on equipment and appliances. Advise supervisor of needs that require vendor services.
Help maintain appearance and usability of interior and exterior spaces and identify issues that require further attention. Make safety checks by observing and checking locked doors. Monitor temperatures and adjust heating/cooling equipment as needed. Other duties as assigned
Participate in “All-In” events, Prayer Mountain, Spiritual Growth Check List, etc. Other duties as assigned.

High School graduate or GED
Minimum of two (2) years experience in facility care and maintenance
Candidate must have the ability to obtain live scan fingerprint and child abuse index clearance by the Department of Justice
Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to frequently bend, push, twist, turn and lift, as well as walk and stand for extended periods of time
Candidate should have good general skills for cleaning, knowledge and ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
Be friendly, flexible, able to multitask, enjoys working with all kinds of people
Ability to use basic office technology tools; ability to be flexible with shift and hour changes
Maintain a consistent relationship with God, demonstrate a strong and growing walk with Christ and live a Biblical lifestyle that honors Christ; ability to resolve issues according to Matthew 18
