WHO WE NEED
The Maintenance Lead steers the maintenance crew responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of multiple parking decks. This position will promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor and willingness to help while successfully completing all maintenance tasks and responsibilities. This position has increased responsibility and acts as a lead worker and as a trainer for new/current staff. The Lead Maintenance Tech may assist with work assignments, workflow, new or current staff training, work direction and special assignments. Work is performed independently, under little to no supervision.
Role model - Act as a role model for staff. Portray a positive demeanor always, through actions and communications. Act as a leader and resource for fellow staff.
Follow the Work Rules and departmental policies. Articulate the reasons for these policies to other employees.
Demonstrate an ability and willingness to work in many areas when operational needs are required.
Effectively articulate and demonstrate the principles and details of departmental standard procedures.
Communicate problems and feedback to the appropriate departmental staff.
Stay current with new or changed policies or procedures as communicated by management and act as a resource for fellow employees about reasons and details.
Daily garage inspection/walkthroughs
Snow removal
Maintain contact with Parking Facility Coordinator Team.
Assist with daily operations such as cleaning and maintaining buildings, facilities, and equipment.
Use cleaning tools and other products to create a healthy working environment.
Removes and disposes trash following the appropriate policies.
Paint and pressure wash when necessary.
Maintain, services, and conducts minor repairs on buildings and equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1 year of experience in janitorial/maintenance work.
Prior mechanical or painting experience is a plus.
