Job Title: Residential Supervisor
Reports to: Program Director
Supervises: Direct Support Professionals
Duties and responsibilities:
- Direct Support/oversight in the homes.
- Manage, assess, and assist staff in meeting all Hudson Hill quality support standards.
- Coordinate and manage scheduling of staff for support, transportation, and recreational events in each of the homes.
- Communicate with the team regularly and as needed.
- Manage all last-minute call outs and scheduling needs.
- Maintain accurate and up to date medical records for each resident, including progress notes, medication administration records (MARS), and incident reports. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Function as liaison between administration and support staff.
- Maintain positive interactions with employees in creating solutions around staffing concerns, programmatic concerns, and/or programmatic issues.
- Assist staff in training and addressing all quality assurance matters.
- Create a positive team environment and culture among direct support staff.
- Handle incident reports and submit them to direct supervisors.
- Be up to date and proficient in all Hudson Hill policies, systems, documentation, programming, and practices.
- Manage meal planning and food supply
- Ensure all practices are mirrored and performed in all homes.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents and staff.
- Manage and delegate tasks to staff.
- Coordinate with vendors on site for house repairs and/or needs.
Hiring and ongoing Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Shall be at least 18 years of age.
- Driver’s license valid in the state of NJ
- Possess the ability to read and write English as all service delivery documents and trainings are in English.
- Background check
- All employees agree to drug test prior to employment.
- All employees shall submit to drug tested conducted randomly, and for cause.
- Must successfully complete and demonstrate proficiency in all areas of required training.
- CPR/First Aid - (due every two years), Emergency Procedures, Medication Administration Training (once per year).
- A requirement that employee cooperate with the licensee and Department of Human Services staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
