As a dental assistant not only will you be responsible for the below qualifications, but you will be responsible for greeting patients and guiding them through their Kissing Camels dental experience.

Dental Assistant Duties, Requirements Qualifications
- Gathering patient information and health background
- Providing patient care and support
- Taking X-rays of patient’s teeth and processing results
- Preparing the work area for procedures
- Assisting dentist by handing them instruments and equipment
- Educating patients on good oral hygiene habits
- Performing coronal polishing, sealant application, fluoride application, and topical anesthetic application
- Directing patients and maintaining schedule
- Accurate and precise attention to detail
- Excellent understanding of dental hygiene procedures
- Compassionate and caring of patients
- Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work in an intense, concentrated environment while maintaining a cool head and positive attitude
- Current certification in CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)
- X-Ray Certification: Meet all local and state requirements to operate radiography equipment

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
