Job Summary
We are currently searching for a qualified and reliable maintenance manager to lead our maintenance department of 7-10 maintenance technicians. As the maintenance manager, you will be responsible for managing all installations, repairs, and upkeep the operations of our company’s production equipment and facilities. Your duties include, but are not limited to maintaining machinery, planning repair activities, and developing maintenance procedures.
If you have 5+ years proven experience in a heavy industry maintenance and management role, with excellent organizational and leadership abilities, then we encourage you to apply today. Requirements:
- Extensive maintenance experience in the heavy industry field, as listed below:
- Rotary Furnace
- Baghouse/Ventilation Systems
- Pneumatics
- Hydraulics
- Electrical – Idaho State licensed Journeyman (preferred, but not required)
- Combustion Burner Systems
- 5+ years’ experience in managing maintenance personnel – including timesheet/job tracking
- Parts inventory experience
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or Technical Certificate, equivalent job experience will be considered
- Ability to work under pressure (keeping timelines on repairs and maintenance of machines)
- Good hand-eye coordination; excellent math and computer skills (including but not limited to excel and email)
- Able to speak, read, and write the English language proficiently. Spanish speaking is a bonus.
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Clean driving record – may be required to pick up supplied or parts from suppliers
- Emergency/on-call; willing to work overtime
- Ability to wear provided PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Solid ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blue prints
- Attention to detail, use of good judgement.
- Standing, lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying, listening, climbing
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Able to give instructions and directions clearly and directly.
- Accountable for department expenditures and budget.
