Busy cardiology practice has a need for Echo Technician ARDMS Certification (RDCS) required. The ideal candidate will independently perform complete echocardiogram and stress echocardiogram according to iCal standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac diagnostic tests using sonography equipment.
- Operate and maintain equipment in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring aseptic technique is followed.
- Obtain and document patient medical history, including vital signs and relevant symptoms. Analyze and interpret test results, providing accurate and timely diagnostic evaluations.
- Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans based on test findings.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
Experience:
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Strong knowledge of echocardiography techniques and equipment operation.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
