Description:
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for building effective social media and reputation management strategies for the Polinger portfolios account and corporate. The purpose of this role is to strengthen the sense of community within the portfolio and increase qualified leads, resident engagement, retention, and brand awareness. This will be achieved by ensuring the accounts align with Polinger’s primary objectives and initiatives throughout the year. This position will work closely alongside the Director of Marketing and on-site teams.
- Create, execute, and recommend an interactive, dynamic social media presence for Polinger’s assets; continually update and create new engaging strategies to stay ahead of trends and increase awareness and site traffic.
- Leads the social content ideation, creation, and copywriting on all social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube).
- Develop strategies to drive fan engagement and build community, engaging and interacting with followers.
- Captures real time coverage during resident events.
- Drive engagement across all social platforms to help drive audience growth and resident engagement.
- Track content performance, discover, and implement actionable insights.
- Ability to do small graphic design projects for social content.
- Have an eye on and develop the strategy for expanding onto newer social platforms - increasing reach and fan interaction with the brand.
- Ensure the organization is abreast of the latest social media trends and reputation management technologies as they relate to customer experience and marketing.
- Manage reputation management responses as it relates to SEO and customer retention.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments & messages, and foster a positive & interactive community.
- Research trends and topics in Property Management/Real Estate industry to create content that fits within our strategy and offer recommendations.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of these initiatives. Provide regular reports and insights to Director of Marketing (DOM)
- Supports the DOM with marketing campaigns, website content migration, and creative asset management platform content categorizing.
Requirements:
- Four-year degree in marketing or communications field or three years of experience in similar field of work.

Demonstrated understanding of social media platforms, their unique audiences and how to use them to maximize branding and marketing efforts.

In-depth knowledge of branded content and digital media

Ability and understanding of paid social media campaigns

Proven success in crafting and implementing innovative ideas and concepts.

Expertise in managing marketing planning and activation from start to finish.

Proven success in managing multiple projects with tight deadlines and within budget.

Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner and to effectively communicate with all levels of management, owners, vendors, and community staff.

Knowledge/Implementation of Fair Housing laws, a must.

Must be able to commute to all the Polinger Company Residential properties within Washington DC Metropolitan Area for Social Media content.

The candidate will work in the office 3 days/week, with the option for up to 2 days of remote work. The right person must be flexible to work at social/resident events that could include weekends with the possibility of time off during the work week.
