At Howlin’ Willy’s we’re not just about serving delicious food, we're about creating an experience that ignites the senses and leaves a lasting impression. As our Restaurant Assistant Manager, you'll be leading our crew to deliver mouthwatering meals and unforgettable moments.
Your Responsibilities:
· Lead by example: Inspire and motivate our team to deliver top-notch service and culinary excellence every day.
· Drive profitability: Implement strategies to optimize revenue, manage costs, and exceed financial targets.
· Foster a positive work environment: Cultivate a culture of teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement.
· Ensure guest satisfaction: Anticipate and exceed guest expectations, resolving any issues with grace and professionalism.
· Uphold standards: Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations at all times. Must reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop, scrub equipment and wipe counters.
· Must be able to carry boxes and containers weighing up to 50 pounds 20 times per shift.
· Reading and writing skills are required.
· Able to operate restaurant equipment including but not limited to grills, fryers, and steamers with temperatures up to 500 degrees.
· Able to operate restaurant equipment including but not limited to knives, food processors and choppers.
· Walks and stands during the entire shift.
· Frequent washing of hands and wearing powder latex food protective gloves.
· Hazards may include, but are not limited to; cuts, burns, and falls.
· Works with cleaning chemicals.
· Must be eligible to work in US.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
How You'll Bring It
· Previous experience in restaurant management of minimum 2 years preferable.
· Exceptional leadership skills: You're a natural leader who knows how to inspire, motivate, and develop your team.
· Strong business acumen: You're adept at analyzing financial data, managing budgets, and making data-driven decisions.
· Fixes minor equipment problems or calls for maintenance assistance when equipment problems cannot be fixed in-house to maintain the working condition of equipment and reduce operating costs.
· Passion for hospitality: You genuinely love connecting with people and creating memorable experiences for guests and team members alike.
· Places orders with vendors to maintain adequate stock of product inventory.
· Receives deliveries by counting products and checking product quality to ensure that the invoice and delivery meet amount and quality standards.
· Flexibility and adaptability: You thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and can effectively multitask and problem-solve under pressure.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
