Cutting Edge Pediatric and Adult Therapy offers ST, OT, PT, ABA, and counseling for patients, ages birth-30, in a highly collaborative and fun, sensory-focused setting. Therapists can easily incorporate movement and sensory activities into treatment sessions, using our engaging therapy gyms, sensory light room, and on our playground. Teenagers and young adults at our facility have the unique opportunity to work on daily living activities and vocational activities in our on-site apartment, mock grocery store, and our on-site coffee shop. Key Responsibilities
- Providing client-centered and evidence-based practice across all components of client care including the initial evaluation process, intervention, re-evaluation, and discharge.
- Supervises and coaches clinical students and/or volunteers.
- Mentoring Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants through supervision.
- Contributing to department growth through developing and conducting in-service training programs.
- Assisting in developing strategic and long-range plans for the program. May also be required to participate in case reviews, medical consultation staffing, and school multidisciplinary team/staffing.
- Participating in public speaking or community education programs that focus on issues relating to therapy in children/adolescents.
- Promoting knowledge of innovation in the field of pediatric Occupational Therapy by keeping advised of new medical research and treatment modalities and inspiring others to do the same.
- Ensuring that the highest quality of provision of Occupational Therapy services is provided to the clients of CEPT.
- Complying with federal, state, and local legal and certification requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
Professional Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
- Currently registered and licensed by the State of Texas or eligible for licensure within the immediate future.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Duties require extensive standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
- Requires lifting, positioning, and/or transferring clients, including the ability to participate in physical activities and play-based therapies.
- May be required to lift up to a minimum of 50 pounds.

Salary Information
- Hourly treatment rate starting at $40.00+ per treatment hour depending on experience.
