We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Inventory Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing inventory levels, ensuring the accuracy of stock records, and maintaining an organized warehouse. This role is crucial in supporting our operations by ensuring that inventory is properly received, stored, and distributed in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain current inventory levels; track orders and investigate discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Stock Control: Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Data Entry: Accurately input inventory data into the system, update records, and generate inventory reports as needed.
- Receiving and Inspecting: Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, document any damages or discrepancies, and coordinate returns as necessary.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain an orderly and efficient warehouse layout, ensuring that all items are stored in designated locations and properly labeled.
- Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure adequate stock levels and resolve any inventory-related issues.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in a related field is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a related field preferred.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
