Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Content Writer and Marketing Support Staff to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing engaging and informative content for various digital platforms, including web, social media, and advertising campaigns. The role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing principles and a passion for creating compelling content that resonates with our audience. The successful applicant will be able to work independently and collaboratively with our marketing team to drive business results through content creation and provide other support.
Key Responsibilities
· Create original, high-quality content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and conceptualize creative campaign ideas.
· Produce visually appealing graphics, photos, videos, and other multimedia content.
· Write compelling and concise copy & captions that capture the brand voice and effectively communicate key messages.
· Publish posts on platforms and track social media performance using analytics tools, prepare reports on key metrics, and suggest improvements based on data insights.
· Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and share insights with the team.
Additional Responsibilities
· Marketing Support: Assist the marketing team with various tasks and projects as needed, contributing to the overall success of marketing campaigns.
· Sample Management: Assist in building, ordering, organizing, and sending sample boxes for clients, maintaining accurate inventory and shipping details.
· Gift Preparation: Assist in creating and personalizing client and employee gifts, enhancing relationships and expressing appreciation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in content creation and editing, with a strong portfolio that showcases versatility and creativity.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including content marketing and social media marketing.
- Experience in photography is a plus.
- Three years of experience or degree in social media, marketing or communication
- Proficient in video editing and related tools, as well as creating content for social media.
- Excellent understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh and engaging content ideas.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics) is a plus.
- Experience in multifamily, construction or real estate is a plus.
Travel Requirements
· This position requires up to 30% travel.
· Travel is primarily within southern California.
· Most trips will be day trips, with occasional overnight stays.
· Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to drive to job sites and events.
· Car stipend will be provided
· All travel expenses will be reimbursed according to company policy.
