Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in database management, performance tuning, scripting, and database design. Responsibilities:
· Ensuring Network connectivity throughout the company’s LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations and perform network address assignment and assign routing protocols and routing table configuration.
· Build, configure, patch upgrade and configure physical and virtual servers.
· Implement various structures for all physical objects and recommend changes on applications through efficient statistical structures.
· Participate in the planning and implementation of the policies and procedures to ensure system provisioning and maintenance that is consistent with the companies’ goals, industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
· Recommend, schedule and perform software and hardware improvements, upgrades, patches reconfiguration and /or purchases.
· Create required reports by maintaining configuration and process information in response to business user needs.
· Tracking data and creating reports to assist in the analysis of compliance and safety issues including but not limited to ongoing regulatory monthly inspections, tracers, adverse event reporting, core measures and other accountability measures
· Serves all clients including, but not limited to neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics to meet their health needs by maintaining confidentiality, privacy, documenting based on HIPPA regulations and maintaining the files up to the terms required by the State in the Pharmacy’s database.
· Assist the Pharmacy staff to make the data already available to the benefit of the patients and the pharmacy.
· Assign Passwords and Maintain Database Access to all Prime Rx users. Analyze and Recommend Database Improvements related to the Prime Rx. Analyze Impact of Database Changes to the Business
· Provide protected access to Audit and request Databases related to the third-party insurance companies so that confidentiality is not violated.
· Identify database requirements by interviewing customers; analyzing department applications, programming, and operations; evaluating existing systems and designing proposed systems. If needed, develop a new database to fit in the customer needs to benefit the pharmacy customers.
· Develop and Test Methods to Synchronize Data and Secure Network Structures. Setup Safety Measures to Recover Data. Backup and Restore Data. Debug Database Issues on Live Data related to the claims transmissions.
· Recommend solutions by defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, database security, data back-up, and recovery specifications.
· Ensure Data is Secure, Databases Run Efficiently and that the Platform is available for use.
· Extract Live Data, have back up set in place for everyday use and analyze data every day to see if the database is functioning properly, Prevent Data Loss, Recover Lost Data and Repair Program Bugs
· Install revised or new systems by proposing specifications and flowcharts recommending optimum access techniques; coordinating installation requirements.
Bachelor's Degree is required in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Technology.
