Compensation:
$22 hourly to start DOE
Responsibilities:-
Take and document vital signs and medical history for patient records, take x-rays of patients’ mouths, and apply a topical anesthetic for dental procedures, if necessary
- Schedule appointments for patient care follow up, answer any questions they may have about dental hygiene, and provide postoperative instructions with methods for infection control of the patients’ teeth and gums, after procedures
- Help dentists and dental hygienists during procedures or examinations by providing suction, handing off dental instruments, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team
- Greet patients and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during the appointment
- Ensure dental office infection control policies and safety regulations are met by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use
- Master functionality of dental software programs, including but not limited to OpenDental, BlueNote, XDR Imaging, Modento, Jarvis, ITERO Scanner, Pano, Digital Xrays, and Nomad

Prepare rooms for procedures, maintain cleanliness and organization of room and equipment, and clean up each operatory room after each procedure

Update all notes of the doctor’s diagnosis during exams and treatment

Maintain full stock of all procedure and treatment bins

Treating every patient with compassion and keeping the Enamel way, comfort & humor at the forefront of appointments

Maintaining 100% HIPAA and OSHA compliance with office technology

Chairside competency in assisting with all general dentistry procedures, including Sedation, Veneers, Crowns, Surgery, and Implants

Pack cord & make temporary crowns to form, function, and patient comfort

Arriving 15 minutes early every day for the morning huddle to start the day off on a positive & motivational note!

Coronal polishing and fluoride application
Qualifications:-
Associate’s Degree or a certification from a college or technical school training program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation is required
- Computer skills and experience with dental software and updating patient histories is needed
- Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience as a registered dental assistant or certified dental assistant
- Must possess a current state license as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA)
- Up-to-date BLS/CPR certification is required
- Previous experience as a registered dental assistant with 1 year of experience required
