Job Summary:
BakerRisk® is seeking a full-time Human Resources Administrative Assistant in our corporate office. The Human Resources Administrative Assistant will provide support to the HR department by assisting with various administrative tasks. They will support our recruiting team in various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the recruitment process. They will also be responsible for maintaining employee records, processing paperwork related to hiring, benefits, and training, and addressing employee queries.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is a plus
- Previous experience in an administrative role or customer service position
- Familiarity with recruitment processes and databases
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of HR processes and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment process by posting job ads on various platforms and assist in screening applications
- Assist with coordinating interviews and assessments with candidates and hiring managers.
- Assist with ions both internally and externally regarding candidate interviews, schedules, obtaining required paperwork, and updating HR personnel
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Assist with maintaining employee records and ensure all paperwork is received and up to date.
- Assist with employee onboarding activities and orientation for new hires.
- Assist with processing paperwork related to new hires, terminations, promotions, and transfers.
- Assist with responding to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other HR-related matters.
- Assist with managing the department mailbox
- Provide general administrative support including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the Chief Human Resources Officer.
