- Administer Pre/Post Needs Assessments to students, parents and staff
- Provide professional guidance and counseling services that assist in creating a learning environment that contributes directly to student mastery.
- Concentrate on the academic achievement, career development, personal-social effectiveness and psychological maturity of students while facilitating professional tasks.
- Participate on Resource Coordinating Teams with support services personnel. (RCT).
- Counsel students individually and in small groups on a regularly scheduled basis.
- Assist students with the understanding of the MI Six Career Pathways and the completion of the Education Development Plan (EDP).
- Provide students with career guidance experiences in school wide orientations, large groups, small groups and classroom settings.
- Coordinate guidance activities with other school staff personnel, business/labor industry, community foundations/organizations and other local resources.
- Consult with teachers, parents, administrators, and others about the School Counseling Program and other educational-related activities, procedures and plans.
- Participate in data aggregation and interpretation with students, parents, staff and counselor colleagues.
- Participate in webinars, site training programs, professional conferences/workshops and other professional growth experiences.
- Serve on the School Improvement Team and participate in other staff development activities.
- Evaluate guidance program progress; and
- Fulfill other school counseling duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Principal (or Designee).

Pay: $51,000.00 - $87,000.00 per year
