LHH is seeking an HR COORDINATOR (BILINGUAL) for a contract-to-hire position in Houston, TX.
Position: HR COORDINATOR (BILINGUAL) – preferred but not required
Type: contract-to-hire
Location: 100% ONSITE – Houston, TX 77045
Pay Range: $24-28.85/hr DOE ($50-60K annually)
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8 am-5 pm
SUMMARY:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee termination, payroll and benefits, and company policy and procedure adherence. In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company's managers to help them with their human resource needs.
DUTIES:
- Oversee the full cycle of recruitment efforts
- Develop and oversee new hire orientation, onboarding efforts and employee termination process
- Assist with payroll and benefits administration
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and legal Responsibilities
- Monitor employee morale and company culture.
- Identify future staffing needs.
- Process complaints regarding sexual harassment, discrimination, or other instances of workplace harassment and assist in any necessary investigations and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain employee personnel records.
- Conduct exit interviews and recommend corrective action if necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma; bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area preferred
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred
SKILLS:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook)
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience working in Human Resources
- Experience with HRMS/HRIS systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of the human resources field
- Understanding of state and federal employment regulations
- Awareness of OSHA regulations and compliance
- Understanding of personnel and compliance records management
