The Forsyth TEAM is looking to fill the role of Process Technician, 2nd Shift in their Forsyth, Georgia facility to contribute their knowledge and experience to support production. Reporting to the Process Engineer with a dotted line to the shift supervisor this is an onsite position that supports the manufacturing operations.
The Forsyth site is one of the manufacturing sites for IPL’s Large Format and Retail Packaging (LF&R) business in the United States. LF&R is a growing segment, with annual revenue of approximately $200m and significant growth potential, and is part of the Environmental, Returnable and Industrial Solutions (ERIS) Division of IPL.
Position Title: Process Technician, 2nd Shift.
Location: Forsyth, Georgia
What you will bring to the role:

Essential experience and skills:
- Interpret work order to ensure job has been set up properly in all aspects before production commences, including timely sign-off as required.
- Review any quality defects with the Quality representative on the shift, making adjustments to the equipment/machine to resolve such issues.
- Monitor cycle times to ensure all equipment is running at optimal levels.
- Participate in mold changes as needed, restarts, start-ups, sizing and processing adjustments, insuring duties are performed safely and in accordance with procedures.
- Basic cleaning, greasing and daily upkeep of molds.
- Changing of raw material designated silos as needed.
- Auxiliary equipment knowledge, setup and troubleshooting, including heat transfer machines.
- Completes necessary reports and forms to track production performance and machine efficiency.
- Must have advanced troubleshooting abilities with regard to Molding equipment in order to determine root cause of issues and resolve in an efficient manner.
- Directs the workforce and assigns daily jobs/tasks to all Molding employees in the absence of the Lead/Supervisor.
- Communicates any issues with management and molding employees on other shifts.
- Ensures that the quality of the product on all machines is good.
- Must be able to perform operator, scanning and floor hand duties.
The successful candidate will:
- Injection Molding Experience
- Knowledge of Robotics and automation
- Mechanical/Technical Experience

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
