Job Summary
- Perform preliminary testin
n patients, including vi
al acuity, color vision, depth perception, and other diagnostic tests.
- Record patient medical history and maintain accurate medical records.
- Assist with contact lens insertion, removal, and care instructions.
- Conduct diagnostic testing such as visual field testing and retinal imaging.
- Educate patients on eyewear options and assist with frame selection.
- Handle administrative tasks like scheduling appointments and verifying insurance coverage.
-Bill vision and medical insurance claims online.
Qualifications:
-Must be able to type 40 words per min and have good telephone skills.
-Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service or retail.
- Experience in patient care within optometric or medical settings is a plus but not an absolute requirement. We are willing to train the right person.
- Comfort working with patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
- Excellent communication skills.
-Bilingual English/Spanish required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
