About YOU: You have a sunny personality with superb communication skills, and can effectively converse and connect with patients. You enjoy talking to new people (our patients), are an ethical patient-centric provider, offering the best quality of care to each and every patient, putting all patients at ease, pre/during/post-treatment. Did we mention that you have SUPERB communication skills? :) The QPD Hygienist for the past 3+ years has been a VERY loved and revered clinician/human, and so we have very high expectations for our next RDH.
You *MUST*:
- Have a MINIMUM of 2 full years of private practice clinical experience, ideally at in-network PPO settings.
- Be skillful (and confident!) in providing high-quality hygiene treatments, including administration of local anesthetic and taking superb x-rays.
- Communicate thoroughly and clearly, while radiating warmth and compassion.
- Possess great work ethics, while motivated to contribute to practice growth.
- Be coachable, team-oriented, and eager to succeed as a member of Team QPD.

Job type: part-time with the potential to transition to full-time.
Work days: 2-3 days per week to start (somewhat flexible), will increase to 3.5 days/week in September, with the option to eventually increase to up to 4.5 days/week.
- Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays: 9:00 or 9:30 AM to 6:00 or 6:30 PM (the schedule varies by season), 30-60 minute scheduled lunch.
- 2 Fridays per month (somewhat flexible): 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 30-minute scheduled lunch.
- Possibly 1 Saturday per month
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings/SRP, take x-rays and intra-oral photos, and assist the doctor during examinations.
- Utilize knowledge of dental terminology, HIPAA regulations, and infection control protocols.
- Document patient assessments and medical records accurately using Open Dental software.
- Communicate effectively with patients and team members to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Utilize premium skills such as patient assessment and pediatric dentistry as needed.
- Assist other QPD Team members during downtime.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to provide high-quality care.
Salary: Ranging from $55-62 per hour, based on proficiency, experience, and future potential of the candidate.
