Farouk Systems is seeking a skilled & Senior Web/E-commerce Developer to join our high-growth company in the Consumer Products (Haircare) industry. As an E-commerce Developer at Farouk, you’ll have the opportunity to work on exciting e-commerce sites for some of the world’s leading CHI & Biosilk brand. You’ll be involved in designing, coding, testing, and reviewing these sites, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Continuously update and maintain Farouk’s website structure to ensure compatibility with web browsers, search engines, and mobile devices.

Understand business needs and develop solutions that enhance consumer and customer experiences.

Create consumer-grade e-commerce applications that scale globally.

Apply backend development skills with Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud.

Implement frontend development using HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, and jQuery.

Utilize Salesforce Page Designer and NodeJS framework.

Explore headless commerce and Progressive Web Apps (PWAs).

Familiarize yourself with the Salesforce Reference Architecture.

Work within the Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud Business Manager interface.

Develop and consume APIs (SOAP/REST) for various e-commerce processes (returns, adjustments, replacements, payment capture, fulfillment, inventory management).
Skills & Abilities:

Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn Salesforce Commerce Cloud/Salesforce Marketing Cloud, SAP, EDI systems.

Understanding of e-commerce principles and best practices, including ERP (SAP), EDI, and Order Management Systems integrations.

Excellent project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Education & Experience:

Four-year college degree from an accredited institution.

Experience in merchandising, sales, and/or customer service in a business-to-customer segment.

3-5 years of experience in e-commerce development.

Proven experience in product listings, marketing, and e-commerce.

Proficiency in describing and pricing products for pre-sale and purchase scenarios.

Fundamental understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Knowledge of Web and e-commerce security.

Familiarity with payment gateways like Stripe, PayPal, and CyberSource.

Experience applying user-centric design and User Experience (UX) concepts.
