Warehouse Lead Associate - NOW HIRING
Position Summary:
Warehouse Lead Associates are responsible for ensuring product flows in a timely manner specified through shipping & receiving (inbound/ outbound) processes. They identify product flow problems early and proactively resolve them; measured by relevant metrics and Key Performance Indicator’s (KPI’s).
Responsibilities:
- Supports the facility operating budget and Key Performance Indicator’s (KPI’s) by validating and achieving standards.
- Achieves daily operating goals.
- Ensures inventory integrity and systems integrity and execution, while maximizing productivity throughout the distribution center.
- Ensures workforce engagement in company values through the effective execution of HR, Loss Prevention and Safety policy and programs; as measured by the reduction in employee relation incidents, recordable accidents, and inventory shrink
- Actively embraces continuous improvement through improvement of self as much as improvement of team, processes, and environment
- Meets Retail & Delivery Service level objectives
- Performs operational training and cross-training events
- Creates a culture of ownership and participation while ensuring company policies are communicated, understood, and administered
- Excellent customer service and follow-up skills
- Formulates and executes tactical operating plans and adjust staffing and resources based on volume and service level expectations
- Works in direct labor role as needed and demonstrates team building skills and leads by example
- Utilizes Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); specifically, HighJump, and able to perform research on exceptions
- Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment and ability to show improvements in accident and injury statistics
- Maintains necessary equipment and tools for the operation to succeed
Qualifications:
- Computer and clerical experience preferred
- Must be able to consistently position self to maintain/move product throughout the facility and be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time
- Experience in HighJump (WMS) preferred
- 2+ years leadership experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Some college work preferred
